July 15 -Look to the sky, it’s St. Swithin’s Day (We wonder if this could work in Florida?)
St. Swithin's Day is 15th July, a day on which people watch the weather.
Similar to Groundhog Day in Canada and the US, St. Swithin’s Day says that what ever the weather is like on July 15, it will continue so for the next forty days.
There is a weather-rhyme is well known throughout the British Isles since Elizabethan times.

'St Swithin’s Day, if it does rain
Full forty days, it will remain
St Swithin’s Day, if it be fair
For forty days, t'will rain no more.'

Q and A

I closed on my home 6 months ago, we will have tenants in soon; can I get a Short-Term Rental Policy now?

-Your Dwelling Fire policy protects against more than liability claims that may arise from having a tenant occupy the property, your policy mainly protects against covered perils that occur whether the home is occupied or not, for example, Fire, theft, and hurricane damage. It is very important to have your property covered from the outset of your closing to ensure that any claims made on the property are covered. Many insurance companies will not insure a home that has had a lapse in coverage. Keep in mind that Flood Policies take 30 days to go into effect, if not required by your lender, so don’t wait until the last minute.
